Role Overview
As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will contribute to the development and improvement of AI and machine learning models by accurately labeling, reviewing, and processing data. Your work will directly impact technologies such as speech recognition, natural language processing, and other AI-driven systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate, label, and review data (text, audio, image, or video) based on project guidelines
- Perform transcription, subtitling, and categorization tasks with high accuracy
- Ensure consistency and quality across all annotation outputs
- Follow detailed instructions and adapt to evolving project requirements
- Conduct quality checks and validation of annotated data
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security standards
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets
- Work with annotation tools, platforms, and AI-assisted systems
Qualifications
- Previous experience in data annotation, transcription, or AI-related projects preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines
- Excellent comprehension and analytical skills

- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Ability to work independently in a remote, gig-based setup
- Flexible availability depending on project requirements
Required Experience
- Transcription / subtitling / localization
- Audio editing (Adobe Audition or similar)
- Data annotation / AI training projects
- Familiarity with ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) / TTS (Text-to-Speech) workflows
Language Proficiency
- Native or near-native fluency in
- Strong grammar, spelling, and writing skills
- Ability to understand accents, dialects, and conversational nuances (preferred)
