Role Overview
We are seeking a Community Leader based in Egypt to lead, grow, and manage our community of agents participating in a large-scale global initiative. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a strong balance of community leadership, operational oversight, and cross-region collaboration.
As the Community Leader, you will own the end-to-end process in Egypt—from onboarding new agents to ensuring successful daily operations—while working closely with community leaders in other regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Leadership & Growth
- Build, engage, and manage self-managed and self-motivated agents community in Egypt.
- Drive recruitment campaigns using effective local communication channels.
- Develop strategies to expand the community sustainably and keep members active.
- Act as the voice of Egypt for changes to the platform, pay structure, or engagement approach.
- Onboarding & Training – Through a platform, manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring new members are well-prepared and aligned with project requirements. With the ability to define new features and functionality
- Operations Management – Coordinate with project-specific operation leaders related to Egypt’s portion of delivery.
- Collaboration – Work closely with other regional project leaders to share best practices, align strategies, and ensure consistency across regions for quality and performance, while defining Egypt-specific approaches that may vary from other regions.
- Support & Communication – Serve as the point of contact for agents in Egypt, addressing concerns, sharing updates, and fostering strong engagement.
Qualifications
- Based in Egypt (required)
- Leadership Experience of teams over 500+ HC at least 2+ years (any form of BPO, Annotation, Onsite, or Remote)
- Experience Leading Remote Work Operations in AI/ML Data Annotation (Trust and Safety is acceptable, but AI/ML annotation is preferred)
- Project Management Certifications (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse community.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating with a global team.
- Willingness to engage at the contributor level, doing AI/ML test tasks or simulated work for performance benchmarking
