Role Overview
Agents Only Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis across multiple functions and projects. This role plays a key part in delivering financial insights, improving reporting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.
The ideal professional combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and has experience managing financial models, budget planning, variance analysis, and financial forecasting in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and long-range business plans.
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial projections.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers affecting business performance.
- Support budget protection and cost optimization initiatives.
- Analyze operational and financial data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and key performance indicators.
- Conduct scenario analysis and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Partner with operations, accounting, payroll, and business leaders to improve financial performance.
- Identify risks and opportunities impacting budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in financial reporting processes.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities for reporting and analysis.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and executive reporting requirements.
Preferred Experience
Candidates should possess:
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or business financial analysis.
- Experience with financial forecasting, budget preparation, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of budgeting methodologies and financial controls.
- Experience supporting business operations and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience using BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Experience in technology, professional services, BPO, operations, or high-growth environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote and distributed environment.
Education/Expertise
Candidates with educational backgrounds or professional experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
