Raising a concern or complaint

This page explains how to contact us if you have a concern or a complaint about your work on the platform, or about a change to your account access. It also links to independent information for workers in Australia.

📋 What to include

It helps us understand your concern if you can tell us:

• what happened, and roughly when
• which part of your work or your account it affects
• what you would like us to look at
• how you would prefer us to reply to you

You do not need all this to contact us. Send what you have.

⚠️ If your access to the platform has changed, been suspended, or ended

If you can no longer use the platform for work and want to raise that with us, use the contact option above.

Contacting us is not a step you have to take first, and it is separate from anything you may be able to do outside the company:

• it does not replace any external application or claim
• it does not start, pause, extend, or change the deadline for any external process
• it does not affect whether an external body will accept an application from you

If a deadline matters to your situation, check it with the relevant external body directly rather than relying on this page.

We cannot give you legal advice

🗂 Independent information for workers in Australia

Australian law protects some people who get work through a digital labour platform from unfair deactivation. Whether that protection covers any particular person depends on their circumstances, and it is decided by the Fair Work Commission, not by us.

The Fair Work Commission publishes its own information, including who the law protects, what counts as deactivation, and how to make an application:

Unfair deactivation for employee-like workers
The process for unfair deactivation or termination claims
Apply for unfair deactivation (Form F89)
Where to find legal help

On its own page, the Fair Work Commission states that an application for unfair deactivation must be made within 21 calendar days after the deactivation, and that it can sometimes extend that period if there are exceptional circumstances. Deadlines and eligibility are set and applied by the Commission, so check the current position on its website.

The Digital Labour Platform Deactivation Code, which sets out a process for digital labour platform operators, is published in full at legislation.gov.au/F2024L01573.
