Role Overview
As a Text and Image Annotation Tier 1 Specialist, you will review, classify, label, and evaluate text and image content using detailed project guidelines. Your work will help create accurate, consistent datasets that support the training and improvement of AI and machine-learning systems.
This role is suited to detail-oriented individuals with strong language skills and a commitment to quality. You will work independently in a remote environment, apply annotation standards consistently, and contribute to multilingual AI data projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Annotate, classify, and categorize text and image content according to project guidelines.
- Review data for quality, consistency, relevance, and accuracy.
- Apply appropriate labels and classifications while identifying inconsistencies or errors.
- Follow detailed annotation instructions and quality standards.
- Meet established productivity and quality expectations.
- Complete assigned tasks within project timelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with project security and data-privacy requirements.
Qualifications
- Native or professional-level proficiency in at least one supported language.
- Excellent written-comprehension and communication skills in the selected language.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines.
- Basic computer proficiency and reliable internet access.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong familiarity with the culture, customs, regional expressions, and language nuances of your language or locale is an advantage.
- Understanding of local social and legal contexts relevant to content evaluation is preferred.
- Previous experience in data annotation, content moderation, localization, quality assurance, AI data labeling, or related language-based projects is an advantage but not required.
