Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain technology solutions that support internal operations and client-facing products. You will work across applications, APIs, integrations, automation tools, and platform services while contributing to reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery.
This role is suited to engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will help strengthen engineering practices, platform reliability, and operational efficiency in a remote, collaborative environment.

Software Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and platform features.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and efficient code following engineering best practices.
- Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
- Develop new platform capabilities while ensuring reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Participate in software architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution design.
- Contribute to improving engineering standards, coding practices, and development workflows.
Platform Performance and Reliability
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, production issues, and technical incidents.
- Support initiatives that improve scalability, stability, availability, and platform performance.
- Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and production-support activities.
- Identify opportunities to optimize applications, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, services, and development workflows.
Collaboration and Engineering Excellence
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Participate in peer code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Help maintain secure, reliable, and well-documented software systems.
Required Experience
- Professional experience in software engineering, software development, or related technical roles.
- Experience building web applications, backend services, APIs, or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing and maintaining production software throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Previous experience working remotely or within distributed engineering teams is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Go, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of software-engineering principles, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean-coding practices.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection and an appropriate remote-work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js, .NET, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience using cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Git workflows and collaborative software-development practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative software-development methodologies.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, SaaS platforms, or high-availability production environments.
- Knowledge of application security, monitoring, observability, logging, and performance optimization.
Education and Expertise
Candidates with educational backgrounds or equivalent professional experience in one or more of the following are encouraged to apply:
