Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Philosophers and Ethics Researchers to support advanced evaluation, research, and analytical projects involving ethical reasoning, value judgments, and complex decision-making scenarios, ideal for academics and researchers in moral philosophy, applied ethics, or public policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate content involving ethical reasoning, values, and complex decision-making
- Analyze arguments, assumptions, and potential implications across diverse scenarios
- Assess consistency, fairness, and logical coherence in responses and recommendations
- Identify bias, ambiguity, harmful implications, or unsupported conclusions
- Compare and rank alternative approaches based on established criteria
- Document findings and provide clear rationale for evaluations
- Apply ethical frameworks and critical thinking to challenging edge cases
Qualifications
- Advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) in Philosophy, Ethics, or Political Theory highly valued
- Experience in academia, think tanks, research institutions, or policy organizations preferred
Required Experience
- 5+ years of academic, research, teaching, or professional experience in philosophy, ethics, political theory, or public policy
- Experience conducting research, writing, or analysis involving ethical or normative questions
- Experience evaluating arguments, tradeoffs, and complex reasoning scenarios
Language Proficiency
- Strong written communication and documentation skills in English required
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of ethical reasoning and philosophical analysis
- Excellent critical thinking and argument evaluation capabilities
- Ability to identify bias, ambiguity, and unintended consequences
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
