Role Overview
As a Biologist or Life Sciences Expert, you will apply scientific knowledge and evidence-based reasoning to evaluate research-related content, biological concepts, and technical outputs. You will assess the quality of scientific explanations, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and provide clear, well-supported evaluations.
This role is suited to professionals who can interpret complex life sciences information with accuracy and sound judgment. You will contribute to scientific review, literature-analysis, and research-focused projects where precision, consistency, and careful documentation are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate scientific content for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Analyze biological concepts, experimental findings, and research-related materials.
- Assess responses involving genetics, molecular biology, physiology, pharmacology, and related topics.
- Identify inaccuracies, unsupported claims, and scientific inconsistencies.
- Compare and rank alternative scientific explanations and analyses.
- Document findings and provide clear rationale for evaluations.
- Maintain alignment with established scientific principles and evidence-based practices.
- Support projects involving biological datasets, literature reviews, and scientific reasoning.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Advanced degrees, such as a master’s degree or PhD, are highly valued.
- Experience in academic research, laboratory environments, scientific publications, or teaching is strongly preferred.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of academic, laboratory, research, or professional experience in life sciences or related fields.
- Experience conducting research, laboratory work, scientific analysis, or technical evaluations.
- Experience interpreting scientific literature, publications, and experimental findings.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with evidence-based methodologies and scientific standards.
Language Proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
